“This recognition is not just a personal honor—it reflects the extraordinary commitment of our entire RP team and the transformative work we do together,” said Dr. Nallamshetty. “It’s a privilege to help lead a practice that is redefining what is possible in radiology, advancing patient care and elevating physician leadership at a national scale. I’m proud to stand alongside many esteemed forward-thinking clinical executives who are shaping the future of healthcare.”

Dr. Nallamshetty joined RP in 2018 and was named Chief Medical Officer in 2022, championing all aspects of the practice’s clinical agenda—patient care, clinical value and physician leadership—and ensuring each are effectively integrated and prominently represented within RP’s business strategies. He also serves as the chair of the department of radiology at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Prior to his current role, he served in several national leadership roles for RP, including Associate CMO for Clinical Value, Chair of the National Patient Safety Committee, Vice Chair of RP’s Presidents Council and member of the Growth Physician Support Board, RCM Physician Support Board and Culture and Leadership Development Physician Support Board.
“Krishna exemplifies the very best of clinical leadership—visionary, values-driven and relentlessly focused on improving care for patients and communities,” said Rich Whitney, RP CEO and Board Chair. “His influence can be felt not only within RP but across the broader healthcare ecosystem. We’re proud to see Modern Healthcare recognize Krishna’s role in shaping the field in meaningful and lasting ways.”
“Becoming a clinician doesn’t automatically prepare one for a leadership role, helping to guide an organization or an industry. The 50 clinicians chosen this year as the most influential, some newcomers and some we have recognized previously, are having an oversized impact,” said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-in-chief of Modern Healthcare. “Their work is benefiting their own teams in terms of clinical advancements and financial results and is leading to better patient outcomes.”
