Executive brings proven leadership and operational expertise to accelerate strategic growth

RethinkFirst, a well-known global health technology company focused on behavioral health and neurodiversity solutions, has announced the appointment of Michael Schmidt as its new Chief Operating Officer. With extensive experience in leading major initiatives, improving operational performance, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration, Schmidt brings a valuable combination of leadership and strategic insight. His role will be key in helping RethinkFirst drive long-term growth and scale its impact.

Schmidt has more than 25 years of leadership experience. He joined RethinkFirst in early 2025 to establish and oversee the company’s first project management office while also leading initiatives in customer success and revenue cycle management. His contributions have already brought greater alignment and performance across departments. Prior to this, he served as Chief Human Capital Officer at Ventiv Technology, where he led global business transformation projects that enhanced organizational agility and profitability. His leadership extended well beyond HR, playing a major role in integrating operations and executing large-scale strategic changes.

Earlier in his career, Schmidt held executive roles at AlphaPoint, Nasdaq, and Bloomberg BNA. In these roles, he supported global expansion, scalability, and cultural development during key growth phases.
