Susan Diamond, who is the interim CEO, President, and CFO of Wellvana, said the results show the company really understands what providers and patients need. She said the team is proud of the progress they’ve made with their partners and even more excited about how their work is making a real difference in people’s health and quality of life.

Wellvana’s ACOs also did well in quality measures, outperforming other hospital-led groups in areas like depression screenings, blood pressure control, and 30-day readmission rates. These results show how Wellvana is focused on saving money and delivering better care at the same time.

The organization includes a wide range of healthcare providers, with 40 percent being Critical Access Hospitals, 23 percent being Rural Health Clinics, and 13 percent being hospitals in the program. Building on these results, Wellvana is investing more in its network with better technology and more personalized services. The company will add new features to its Clarity by Wellvana analytics platform to give more insights, lower overall care costs, and help improve health outcomes. Aria Sameni, the Chief Customer Officer at Wellvana, said the most important thing they’ve learned is that more patients are getting better health outcomes through value-based care. She added that these achievements show why this work is so important in communities all across the country.
