As demand for behavioral health services continues to rise, Alexander Youth Network sought a modern, scalable healthcare technology platform capable of enhancing clinical workflows, strengthening data analytics, and improving the overall experience for both patients and families. By selecting NextGen Healthcare’s cloud-based EHR solutions, the organization aims to build a more connected, data-driven care environment that supports both clinicians and caregivers.
Through the implementation of NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise Practice Management (PM), Alexander Youth Network will gain access to a configurable and interoperable healthcare system designed to support integrated care delivery. In addition to enhancing operational efficiency, the new system introduces digital tools that empower families to take a more active role in managing their child’s care. Parents and guardians will be able to schedule appointments, complete pre-visit forms, and access important care information directly through their personal devices, improving communication between families and healthcare providers.
Srinivas (Sri) Velamoor, President and Chief Executive Officer of NextGen Healthcare, highlighted the significance of the partnership in supporting youth-focused healthcare services. He emphasized that Alexander Youth Network’s commitment to improving the lives of children and young adults aligns closely with NextGen’s mission of delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions that enable better clinical outcomes.
Carolyn Spence, Chief Information Officer for Alexander Youth Network, noted that the organization’s decision to move to NextGen Healthcare reflects a forward-looking strategy focused on long-term growth and innovation. According to Spence, the new EHR system provides the flexibility needed to adapt workflows, integrate emerging healthcare technologies, and strengthen data accessibility to support more informed decision-making.
By implementing a modern EHR ecosystem, Alexander Youth Network is positioning itself to expand access to behavioral healthcare services while improving efficiency, care coordination, and patient engagement for the communities it serves.
