Travis Palmquist, a senior care executive with more than 35 years of experience in senior living, has joined Lifespark, a full-service senior health company, as Chief Growth Officer. Palmquist brings extensive knowledge in senior living operations, skilled nursing, long-term and post-acute care technology, business development, and organizational growth.

“I wasn’t actively looking to return to operations, but Lifespark’s COMPLETE Senior Living model caught my attention,” said Palmquist. “The potential to innovate and align with some of the best leaders in this field is exciting. Lifespark offers opportunities to transform and empower seniors and senior living operators in ways I haven’t seen before.”
Joel Theisen, BSN, RN, CEO of Lifespark, called Palmquist’s appointment a strategic investment in the company’s growth. He highlighted Lifespark’s success, noting that their COMPLETE Senior Health business maintains 95 to 100 percent occupancy across more than 45 senior living communities. Theisen added that Palmquist’s expertise in expanding companies and senior living operations will help Lifespark broaden its national footprint.

Palmquist emphasized his confidence in Lifespark’s model. “Having spent decades in this space, I can see the difference this approach makes. I’m excited about the future for seniors, their families, employees in senior care, and the industry as a whole,” he said.
In his new role, Palmquist will lead growth strategies across core services and senior living, oversee mergers and acquisitions, drive revenue growth, and guide technology and marketing initiatives. He added, “What really solidified my decision was Lifespark’s culture. The people here are outstanding and that is key when thinking about leaving a meaningful legacy in this industry.”
Before joining Lifespark, Palmquist held several leadership positions at PointClickCare over the past decade, including Senior Vice President and General Manager of Emerging Markets, Senior Care, Industry Markets, and Interim Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to moving into technology, he spent ten years in senior care operations, building a strong foundation in patient-centered care and organizational leadership.
This move marks a significant step for Lifespark as it continues to expand its COMPLETE Senior Living model and solidify its position as a leader in senior health services.
