Asia University has partnered with NucleicAI LLC, a forward-thinking company that specializes in AI-driven genomics, precision medicine, and health intelligence, to create a Sovereign AI Life Science Data Platform located in Taiwan. This platform will operate within the country to ensure secure data sharing, advanced analytical capabilities, and research collaboration, while keeping strict control over data sovereignty. The partnership was officially announced at the IEEE International Conference on AI × Medicine, Health, and Care in Taichung, which featured a keynote speech by Professor Alireza Haghighi and remarks from Asia University President Jeffrey J.P. Tsai.

President Jeffrey J.P. Tsai shared his excitement about the collaboration, noting that this partnership represents a major step in building a modern health data ecosystem. Professor Alireza Haghighi, co-founder of NucleicAI and chief executive at the Harvard Medical School International Center for Genetic Disease, praised Taiwan’s strong presence in biomedical research and academia. He stated that this collaboration will build a strong data infrastructure to support predictive, preventive, and precision medicine, as well as new drug discovery, helping Taiwan take the lead in next-generation health innovation.
