WHOOP, a company focused on human performance, has joined forces with Quest Diagnostics to introduce WHOOP Advanced Labs, a new feature set to launch in the U.S. this fall. This service brings Quest’s clinical lab testing directly into the WHOOP app, enabling members to book tests, buy them, and get results all within the app. The lab tests include a variety of health indicators such as metabolism, hormones, inflammation, heart health, and nutrient levels. Before this addition, WHOOP helped users understand their recovery, sleep, and training through biometric data. Now, members can get more detailed insights that can help identify potential health concerns and support lifestyle adjustments. The lab tests offered are the same as those typically ordered by doctors, and they are provided by Quest Diagnostics, a well-established name in diagnostic services.

Richard Adams, Senior Vice President of Quest Consumer, mentioned that consumers are looking for more health insights than what comes from yearly check-ups. He pointed out that partnering with WHOOP helps Quest offer more detailed health and wellness information through consumer health tools like wearables and apps. Quest has created a platform to support lab testing in these tools.

With over 2,000 service centers across the U.S. and mobile blood draw options, Quest ensures that health testing is accessible. For WHOOP members, a third party will check test requests, order the tests, send results via the app, and provide phone consultations if necessary.
