In this role, Larko will manage the company’s activities across North America. His job will involve creating plans for growth, improving sales performance, and building stronger ties with customers to help Fotona stay known as a leader in medical laser technology.

Larko has more than 20 years of experience leading companies in the Med-Tech and Life Sciences fields. He is recognized for his ability to grow businesses, handle changes in organizations, and introduce new technologies in different healthcare settings. Before working at Fotona, Larko was the U.S. Vice President of Sales and Professional Services at Becton Dickinson’s Life Sciences Diagnostic Solutions division. There, he led projects that increased the company’s share of the market and improved its business results.
He also managed BD’s U.S. Surgical Specialties division, which helped more hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics use their products. Before BD bought C.R. Bard, Larko held several key leadership roles at C.R. Bard Davol, including Area Vice President of Sales for Hernia and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Earlier in his career, he helped drive innovation and growth at Bard Biosurgery and Reliant Pharmaceuticals, and received several national awards for his leadership and achievements.

Larko is known for his skills in developing market strategies, transforming businesses, and launching new technologies. He has an MBA in International Management from Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Montclair State University. Jeff Duchemin, Fotona’s CEO, is confident that Larko can help the company grow in North America. He said that Larko’s experience in growing businesses and increasing market presence makes him a great fit to lead Fotona’s expansion in the region.
