During his time at Cleveland Clinic, Dockins led cross-functional teams responsible for sourcing across multiple categories, including IT, pharmaceuticals, purchased services, consumables, and physician-preferred items. His leadership contributed to the clinic earning the top spot in Gartner’s Healthcare Supply Chain rankings for three consecutive years. This accomplishment highlights his strong ability to improve financial performance without compromising clinical quality or patient care.

At LogicSource, Dockins will report directly to Jo Seed, Chief Operating Officer, and will oversee integrated client delivery teams. He will focus on implementing LogicSource’s Non-Clinical Sourcing and Procurement Solutions, which combine expert services with the company’s proprietary OneMarket technology platform. These solutions have already helped major health systems reduce non-clinical costs by up to 10 to 15 percent—freeing up resources to support patient care and strategic clinical initiatives.
“John is someone who understands both the financial and clinical needs of a health system,” said Jo Seed, Chief Operating Officer at LogicSource. “His experience at Cleveland Clinic and his approach to vendor management, category management, and change management will help us deliver cost savings and greater resilience for our healthcare clients.”
Dockins shared his excitement about this next step in his career. “I’ve seen firsthand how LogicSource’s data, tools, and people help close the gap in non-clinical procurement,” he said. “Joining this team lets me take what we achieved at Cleveland Clinic and apply it nationally, helping hospital finance and supply chain leaders save money without hurting patient care.” With Dockins on board, LogicSource is poised to expand its impact across the healthcare industry, supporting hospitals as they navigate rising costs while continuing to deliver high-quality care.
