Dr. Grifo’s contributions to the field of reproductive healthcare include pioneering innovative technologies that have been adopted across the industry and have significantly improved success rates, including preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), and egg freezing. In 2020, Dr. Grifo and his team at NYULFC published a first-of-its-kind, 15-year study showing that egg freezing is a viable fertility preservation option. To date, NYULFC has performed over 10,000 egg freeze cycles, with more than 6,000 of those performed in the last five years.
