Murdock joins OpenLoop at a pivotal moment, as the company accelerates its national expansion and builds on the momentum of a recently completed financing round.

“With my roots beginning in rural Idaho, driving high-quality virtual care and expanding access to patients across the country, especially in rural communities, really hits home for me,” said Murdock. “Americans need better access to healthcare and OpenLoop is doing something truly meaningful. I’m honored to help drive that mission forward.”

Before joining OpenLoop, Murdock served as CFO of HealthEquity, where he helped raise and strategically deploy billions in capital, growing revenue and profits by hundreds of millions of dollars. Under his financial leadership, the company consistently exceeded earnings expectations, even through complex acquisition integrations and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He holds both a B.S. and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
