Devin Carty, the Chairman of the Board at Wellvana, said the company has seen significant growth since it was started and thanked the team for their hard work in improving the healthcare system. He said Diamond is a great fit to lead the company into its next stage, pointing to her experience and track record in driving growth and helping Wellvana fulfill its mission to support health systems, hospitals, and providers in value-based care.
Diamond has a lot of experience in value-based care programs and payment models, which will help Wellvana build on what it has already achieved. In the 2024 performance year of CMS’s Medicare Shared Savings Program, the company was recognized as the second-largest value-based care enabler in terms of number of patients served and savings generated. It also achieved high quality scores and strong patient outcomes.

Before joining Wellvana, Diamond spent almost 20 years at Humana in senior leadership roles, including Enterprise CFO, President of Home Solutions, and Senior Vice President of Medicare. She talked about the importance of aligning incentives to deliver better care at lower costs, and explained that Wellvana’s partnerships with providers nationwide are helping create a sustainable healthcare model that benefits both caregivers and the more than 800,000 patients the company serves.
