Presence, a company that offers remote evaluations and teletherapy services for students from preK to 12th grade, including support for special education and mental health, has announced the hiring of Jess Compagnola as Chief Financial Officer and Anne Hogarty as Chief Commercial Officer. Both will be part of the executive team to guide the company’s innovation and growth.

Compagnola has more than 20 years of experience as a finance leader in tech-driven clinical services. Most recently, he was the CFO at Carrum Health, where he managed strategic and corporate financial matters. Before that, he served as CFO at Nomad Health. He began his career at PwC. He earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Hogarty is joining from Extend Fertility, where she was CEO, and had leadership roles at BuzzFeed during its global expansion. Earlier in her career, she worked in finance at Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and Kaplan. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.

In her new role, she will be responsible for all commercial areas, including marketing, service design, clinical innovation, communications, and analytics. Her leadership will focus on expanding Presence’s ability to deliver value to school partners and families across a growing network.

Kate Eberle Walker, CEO of Presence, stated that bringing in Jess and Anne is timely as there’s increasing demand for innovative student services. She highlighted that their combined background in health services and technology will improve Presence’s offerings to preK–12 schools and better support students and families.
