Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, an industry leader in specialized behavioral health treatment, have welcomed Dr. Aaron Wilson, as their new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Wilson, a double board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist, joins MBH’s senior leadership team with more than 15 years of experience guiding clinical excellence across leading treatment programs.

“Dr. Wilson brings deep expertise in addiction, trauma, and complex psychiatric care,” said Chief Executive Officer Kate Renwick-Espinosa. “His perspective and leadership will help ensure we remain at the forefront of evidence-based treatment and improving outcomes for the patients we serve.”
Dr. Wilson earned his medical degree from Tulane University in 2007 and completed his psychiatric residency at the Tulane University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Addiction Medicine.
Previously, Dr. Wilson held chief medical roles across prominent behavioral health institutions in Arizona, including Sierra Tucson, Cottonwood de Tucson, Sabino Recovery, Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital, and Via Linda Behavioral Hospital. In 2024 Dr. Wilson was consulting psychiatrist with The Meadows Seasons, where he played a pivotal role in expanding access to personalized, trauma-focused care.

An active leader in the psychiatric field, Dr. Wilson has served as president of the Arizona Psychiatric Society and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, and the Arizona Medical Association.
