Knowtion Health, one of the nation’s leading healthcare revenue cycle companies, has named Rick Howard as its new Chief Technology Officer. Howard holds more than two decades of executive leadership experience in healthcare IT, generative AI, data management, and operations, with repeated success guiding IT strategy to achieve strong operational outcomes.

Howard will report to Jayson Yardley, Knowtion Health’s Chief Executive Officer. As Knowtion Health’s Chief Technology Officer, Howard will be responsible for overseeing the company’s vision, strategy, and operating priorities for its technology initiatives. This encompasses Knowtion Health’s IT infrastructure, data warehouse, data management functions, analytics capabilities, software and technology-related product development, and information security program.

Prior to joining Knowtion Health, Howard held leadership and executive roles at BENinc.ai, AXL Health, Apervita Inc., and Ascension Technologies. He is also a board member for Christiana Care.

Howard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from LeTourneau University. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems from HIMSS and earned a data sciences certification from IBM.
