Nutex Health Names Wesley Bamburg as New COO
Nutex Health, a healthcare system led by doctors with 24 micro hospitals and outpatient centers in 11 states, along with primary care networks where doctors take on financial risk, has appointed Wesley Bamburg as its Chief Operating Officer starting October 13, 2025. Bamburg has over 20 years of experience in managing healthcare operations, growing businesses, managing integrated networks, and working with doctors. Before joining Nutex Health, he was Chief Operating Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress since July 2024. Prior to that, he held the same role at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center from 2019 to 2024.
Valvoline Teams Up with College Athletes for Mental Health
Valvoline Inc, which is well-known for its reliable automotive maintenance services, has partnered with student athletes from Ohio State University and the University of Tennessee to support mental health during Suicide Prevention Month. This initiative, called “Protect What Matters,” aims to raise awareness about mental wellbeing. Laura Carpenter, Valvoline’s Chief Customer Officer, said the company treats mental health with the same importance as vehicle maintenance and is happy to support this cause through the partnership.
Osstem Implant Boosts Dental Training in India
Osstem Implant, led by CEO Haesung Kim and ranked as the third largest dental implant company globally by market share, is greatly increasing its clinical and digital dentistry education programs in India as part of its improved corporate social responsibility efforts. By merging modern implant technologies with a well-organized and standard training program, the company wants to help more patients get safe, affordable, and up-to-date dental care. To support clinical learning among dentists, Osstem has created the Osstem Implant Training Center, known as OIC, which offers a practical and complete learning experience. Worldwide, over 120,000 dentists have taken advantage of Osstem’s training programs. In India, over 10,000 dentists have finished OIC courses by August 2025, making it the second largest training center globally after China. The numbers continue to grow, with 1,249 dentists graduating in 2024 and another 856 completing their training by August 2025, showing strong interest from Indian dental professionals. This structured training approach has resulted in noticeable improvements in the skills and clinical abilities of dentists throughout the country.

Oculis to Present Positive Phase 2 ACUITY Trial Results at ECTRIMS 2025
Oculis Holding AG, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating innovative treatments for eye and brain-related eye conditions that currently lack effective options, has announced it will share positive results from the Phase 2 ACUITY trial of Privosegtor (OCS-05) in acute optic neuritis at the 2025 European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) Congress. The trial was carried out in partnership with Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, a major center for neurology research.
