Founded in 1974 by Dr. Seymour Diamond, the clinic was established to bring awareness to headaches as a legitimate medical condition at a time when very few U.S. physicians specialized in this field. The Endeavor Health Diamond Headache and Migraine Center operates physician offices at 1460 North Halsted Street in Chicago and 2150 Pfingsten Road on the campus of Endeavor Health Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. Inpatient care will take place in a newly renovated dedicated unit at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, one of only three inpatient headache programs in the U.S. This addition complements Endeavor Health’s expanding neurosciences services, which include a Neuro Intensive Care Unit, stroke follow-up clinic, epilepsy monitoring unit, and expanded sleep lab, further strengthening the system’s commitment to comprehensive neurological care.
