Empower AI (formerly NCI Information Systems), a leading provider of information technology solutions and professional services to the U.S. government, has been awarded a task order with the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command’s Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate for IT services and engineering support. The task order has a total value in excess of $45 million if all options are exercised.

Under the Total Engineering and Integration Services IV contract vehicle, Empower AI will survey, design, procure, install, and modernize Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). As part of the task order, USAISEC also will have Empower AI oversee project implementation and closeout activities, ensuring the upgrade or replacement of existing network infrastructure at Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
