With more than twenty years of experience in clinical care, healthcare operations, and digital health innovation, Dr. Hsu will lead the company’s clinical strategy and work to promote the use of voice biomarker solutions. His responsibilities will include managing clinical projects, supporting product development, and building stronger partnerships with organizations like Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, Samsung, LG NOVA, and major healthcare systems. He will also lead research collaborations to build the scientific and clinical evidence behind voice-based diagnostics. As a spokesperson for Canary Speech, he will help highlight the potential of voice technology in transforming medical care.

Previously, Dr. Hsu served as Associate Vice President for Acute Medical Informatics at Providence, where he coordinated clinical informatics, pharmacy, genomics, research, and laboratory efforts across the entire care journey. He is a board-certified internist and clinical informaticist with senior leadership experience at Providence, St. Joseph Health, and MEDITECH. Dr. Hsu received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is fluent in Mandarin and medical Spanish and continues to provide hospice and inpatient care.
