C8 Health addresses these challenges with the first platform that delivers instant, relevant clinical knowledge tailored to a clinician’s role, schedule, and department. Hospitals using C8 can monitor adherence to care standards through dashboards, supporting ongoing quality improvement. The platform integrates with hospital systems and is accessible via mobile devices, desktops, or directly through electronic medical records. This ensures that everyone—from nurses starting night shifts to doctors rotating between hospitals—receives the right guidance at the right time. Dr. Brian Masel, Director of Anesthesia Quality and Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology at The University of Texas Medical Branch, said, “Healthcare organizations struggle to provide real-time quality feedback in a way that’s easy to use. C8 has built this into their platform. This will change how our staff use quality data to follow best practices. The days of administrators trying to drive change after the fact might be gone, as we can now take ownership of our own performance every day.”

The platform also includes an AI assistant that enables clinicians to ask questions in natural language and receive precise, context-specific answers from their institution’s vetted knowledge base. Beyond individual hospitals, users benefit from a global network of healthcare institutions sharing best practices, allowing clinicians to compare their protocols with those used by leading medical centers worldwide. Galia Rosen Schwarz, CEO and co-founder of C8 Health, noted, “It’s exciting to see how we help hospitals implement best practices and control the quality and cost of care. This round of funding will help us grow our team to meet market demand. We already see this approach becoming the new standard, improving adherence to best practices across healthcare systems. Dartmouth Health is working with us to connect their main campus with member locations. Metro Health has seen big improvements in resource access and information retrieval, along with high satisfaction among doctors. Having a single source of truth for such a wide range of clinical needs is proving to be really valuable.”
C8 Health was founded by Dr. Ido Zamberg, a physician and software engineer who wanted to improve access to clinical best practices at his hospital. What started as a tool for the Neurology department quickly expanded to the entire hospital and then to multiple hospitals across Switzerland. In 2022, Dr. Zamberg teamed up with business development executive Galia Rosen Schwarz and software engineer Tzach Klo to officially launch C8 Health in the United States. Initially focused on Anesthesia, the platform expanded to other departments and eventually to system-wide deployments. Today, over 100 hospitals use C8 Health, and the platform achieves more than 90% clinician adoption within six months of implementation.
