The Innovators Network helps entrepreneurs and organizations push forward with technology that improves cardiovascular and brain health. Members get access to the Association’s digital guidelines and recommendations, which help build better healthcare technologies. Being part of the network also lets members work together on clinical studies, cutting down on the cost of independent research and showing how digital tools can improve patient care, which is important for healthcare providers and payers.
Robert A. Harrington, M.D., FAHA, who was a volunteer past president of the American Heart Association from 2019 to 2020, and is currently the chair of the Health Tech Advisory Group for the Center, as well as the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean of Weill Cornell Medicine and provost for medical affairs at Cornell University, said the Center is working to speed up the development of healthcare technology.
