Cardiovascular disease is a critical health issue in India, where heart and cerebrovascular conditions rank as the top two causes of death according to WHO data. With a rapidly aging population and changing lifestyles, the demand for cardiovascular care is increasing, yet India faces a shortage of certified cardiologists compared to countries like Japan and the United States. Many medical facilities also lack the specialized equipment needed for advanced diagnostic testing, such as ECG analysis.

Tricog Health addresses these challenges by combining over a decade of ECG data with AI technology and the expertise of more than 100 in-house clinical specialists. This approach allows the company to create solutions and devices designed for frontline clinical workflows, helping doctors deliver timely preventive care and improve patient outcomes.

Since 2023, OMRON Healthcare and Tricog Health have collaborated on KeeboHealth, a remote monitoring platform for heart-failure patients. The service integrates Tricog’s AI-based ECG analytics with OMRON’s connected ECG devices. By analyzing patient ECG and blood pressure data at home and sharing the results with physicians, the platform enhances diagnostic efficiency and helps prevent complications and hospital readmissions.

“Through this investment, we aim to expand hospital-to-home care by combining OMRON’s advanced medical devices with Keebo’s AI-guided workflows,” said Dr. Charit Bhograj, CEO of Tricog Health. “This collaboration will improve cardiovascular management, streamline diagnosis, and reduce preventable healthcare costs across Asia, Africa, and other international markets.” Ayumu Okada, President and CEO of OMRON Healthcare, added, “India faces a critical moment in addressing cardiovascular disease. By deepening our partnership with Tricog Health, we are bringing advanced remote monitoring and early detection to patients nationwide. Integrating Tricog’s AI platform with OMRON’s medical technology allows us to improve outcomes, reduce risks, and move closer to our global goal of eliminating preventable cardiovascular events under our Going for ZERO vision.”
