Autoimmune disease is one of the fastest-growing and most expensive categories in healthcare, doubling over the last three decades and affecting more than 50 million Americans living with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and multiple sclerosis. The autoimmune category now represents a growing market valued at over 160 billion dollars, and has become a top spend category for employers and payors.
