International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra has announced an agreement to deliver its enterprise imaging solution, Sectra One Cloud, to a large multisite healthcare system in the United States. According to Isaac Zaworski, President of Sectra Inc., the shift toward integrated and cloud-based systems reflects a growing trend among large healthcare organizations striving to simplify their IT structures and strengthen cybersecurity. He explained that many providers are consolidating systems to improve operational efficiency and safeguard patient information. Zaworski added that for this particular health system, reliability was a top priority due to the region’s heightened risk of natural disasters that can disrupt data access or cause system outages. Moving to Sectra’s enterprise cloud solution addresses both operational and cybersecurity concerns while ensuring uninterrupted care delivery.

As a fully managed service, Sectra One Cloud will be maintained, monitored, and continuously optimized by Sectra’s team. This arrangement removes the day-to-day management burden from the healthcare organization’s internal IT departments. The system is designed to grow alongside the organization’s needs, supporting future expansion into additional imaging specialties as patient volumes increase.
