“Dr. Crowson’s appointment marks a pivotal milestone for Drive Health,” said Kevin Longoria, co‑founder and CEO of Drive Health. “We believe that safe, agentic AI will only gain traction in healthcare when clinicians trust it, and there is no one better suited to earn that trust than Dr. Crowson. His rare combination of surgical training, deep machine‑learning expertise and product leadership will help us translate artificial intelligence into solutions that truly improve the lives of nurses, physicians and patients.”
Before joining Drive Health, Dr. Crowson served as Director of AI/Generative AI Product Management at Wolters Kluwer Health, where he oversaw the development of enterprise‑grade AI products for healthcare clients. He also advises early‑stage health‑tech firms and serves on multiple advisory boards, providing guidance on AI governance, product validation and evidence‑generation frameworks.
“I have spent my career building AI systems that solve real problems for clinicians and patients,” said Dr. Crowson. “Drive Health understands that technology must fit into existing workflows and be held to the same standards of evidence and safety as any medical innovation. I’m humbled to join an organization that shares my commitment to pragmatic, human‑centered AI, and I look forward to working alongside Drive Health’s exceptional team to advance the responsible adoption of agentic AI across healthcare.”
Dr. Crowson will work hand in hand with Drive Health Chief Nursing Officer Dr. Leeza Constantoulakis, PhD, RN, to ensure that practicing clinicians directly shape how AI closes gaps in care delivery and drives health equity. His appointment underscores Drive Health’s broader commitment to partnering with clinicians and industry leaders as it scales Avery, its agentic AI co‑pilot platform.
“Dr. Crowson is a thought-leader with the practical experience needed to really make an impact,” said Dr. Constantoulakis. “His deep understanding of both patient care and product design has already elevated our work. I’m thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team and to collaborate on new programs that will ensure our approach to re-imagining clinical workflows is held to the highest clinical and professional standards.”
