Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute is expanding its coverage by adding orthopedic and sports medicine units on Florida’s east and west coast. With the recent addition of Steward Health Care’s east Central Florida physicians, six doctors and seven physician assistants are now on board with the institute, which covers Melbourne, Sebastian, and Vero Beach.

On the west coast, 20 doctors and 16 physician assistants from Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health have affiliated, and current clinics in Brandon, North Tampa, South Tampa, Wiregrass, and Zephyrhills will be umbrella of the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute name.

The St. Petersburg clinic also will move this fall to Orlando Health’s Medical Pavilion – Institute Square campus and will reopen under the Institute’s branding.

The downtown Orlando hospital—the state’s first and only dedicated orthopedic facility—already sees more than 320,000 patients each year and now has 24 clinics in Florida, all backed by 94 physicians and 118 advanced practice providers.
