Charité was founded more than 300 years ago and is ranked first in Germany and seventh worldwide. It has produced 11 Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine, including Robert Koch. The hospital has four campuses in Berlin, more than 3,500 beds, and over 4,000 medical and research professionals. It’s known for leading research in various medical fields.
Noul has been testing its miLab platform at Charité since earlier this year. The system has performed well in real clinical settings, which led to the supply agreement. The adoption of the platform has cut down on the time needed for sample preparation and reading, reduced the cost per test, and required less training for hospital staff, helping them use their resources more efficiently.

David Lim, CEO of Noul, said supplying miLab to a top hospital like Charité is a big step in expanding into advanced healthcare markets. He added that this achievement shows how competitive Noul’s technology is globally and builds trust in their AI diagnostic solution, which is fast, accurate, and efficient. He expects this to help the platform gain more attention in Europe and North America.
The miLab platform automates blood and cancer diagnostics by combining sample preparation, digital imaging, and AI analysis to provide quicker and more consistent results. Since 2024, Noul has supplied miLab MAL and miLab BCM through Germany’s largest lab network, Limbach Group, and a distributor in Italy. They plan to expand into major European markets by late 2025, strengthening their partnerships and supporting growth in Europe and the United States.
