Neatly Health announced the launch of its free AI-powered personalized health companion app designed to help patients take control of their healthcare experience. By capturing, organizing, and translating what is discussed during medical appointments, Neatly helps patients to better understand their care and provides the tools to become their own best advocates.
“Our mission was to create a tool that gives patients clarity and context when it matters most — not to replace your doctor, but to help patients show up informed and confident throughout treatment.” – Larry Cordisco, co-founder of Neatly Health

Neatly is the first AI health companion in the industry built specifically for patients, unlike existing AI solutions built for hospital systems healthcare providers. The app is designed for anyone navigating any health situation, whether managing a complex or chronic condition, facing a new diagnosis, or coordinating care for a loved one.
“We built Neatly because we’ve lived the frustration of trying to navigate healthcare as patients ourselves,” said Larry Cordisco, co-founder of Neatly Health. “My wife went through cancer three times and we sat in appointments drowning in medical jargon we couldn’t possibly retain. Our mission was to create a tool that gives patients clarity, context, and confidence when it matters most — not to replace your doctor, but to help patients show up informed and confident throughout treatment.”

The Neatly solution
Important patient details are often buried in appointments, scattered across portals and multiple specialists, or locked inside medical jargon that is hard to interpret. Research shows patients forget up to 60% of what doctors tell them immediately after an appointment. This information gap can lead to missed treatment steps, medication errors, and feeling lost in a system that wasn’t designed for patients.
Neatly addresses this by serving as a persistent “health memory” that gets smarter over time. The app tracks symptoms, treatments, and results across visits, spots patterns users might miss, and helps them prepare informed questions for their next appointment.
Founded by healthcare insiders with patient experience
Neatly was founded by Cordisco and Andrew Nguyen, who bring deep healthcare expertise from roles at UCSF, Genentech, and Best Buy Health. Their combined background spans both the clinical and business sides of healthcare, but their motivation is personal.
“The healthcare system generates enormous amounts of data, but almost none of it is truly accessible to patients,” said Nguyen, co-founder and CTO. “For the first time, we are putting that information back in patients’ hands in a way that can meaningfully impact their health and well-being.”
