The event highlights how Kipu’s AI-native platform, Kipu Helix, is helping behavioral health organizations streamline workflows, reduce administrative burdens, and elevate clinical outcomes across their operations.
Lexi Secures $1.4Million to Expand AI Language Access in Healthcare
Lexi, a company focused on creating an AI-native communication layer for healthcare, has raised $1.4 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed round to expand its AI-driven language access platform. The funding round was led by Informed Ventures with participation from HBS Alumni Angels, Stanford Angels, Alumni Ventures, and Van Wickle Ventures. Lexi is also partnering with Lowell Community Health Center to pilot and scale its solution. In the United States, more than 30 million patients face language barriers that slow care, reduce trust, and contribute to medical errors. Co-founders Linh Pham and Siddharth UR have seen these challenges firsthand in their communities, motivating them to develop a tool that reduces friction and ensures patients are understood immediately without replacing human interpreters.
ChristianaCare, Bayhealth and PCOM Launch Delaware Campus
ChristianaCare, Bayhealth, and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine have partnered to establish the Delaware Collaborative Clinical Campus, a new initiative aimed at expanding undergraduate medical education and encouraging physicians to practice in central and southern Delaware. ChristianaCare has maintained a long-term relationship with PCOM, providing clinical training at its New Castle County facilities, and this new collaborative model brings Bayhealth into a statewide program offering high-quality clinical rotations and academic mentorship. Starting in July 2026, five third-year PCOM medical students will complete rotations in Kent and Sussex counties at both Bayhealth and ChristianaCare facilities. These students will join the 55 currently training in the Delaware Branch Campus at ChristianaCare, further enhancing medical education opportunities in the state.
