This appointment accelerates the company’s previously announced succession plan for Dan Burton, who has stepped down as CEO and Board member. Mr. Burton will continue with Health Catalyst as a strategic advisor, and a transition agreement between the company and Mr. Burton is expected.

Ben Albert brings over 25 years of experience leading and growing healthcare organizations. Since assuming the role of President and COO in September 2025, he has conducted a thorough review of Health Catalyst’s operations and capabilities, refocusing resources on core business priorities. During this period, he streamlined the leadership structure to improve strategic alignment, simplify operations, and enhance execution across the organization.
