Hammes, a national real estate consulting, development, investment and management firm, recently completed Surgery Center of Lee’s Summit on the campus of Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Hammes developed the 18,800-square-foot surgery center on behalf of Surgery Ventures, powered by HCA Healthcare, and 16 physician partners. The new facility has three operating rooms and two procedure rooms to serve a wide range of surgical specialties, including bariatrics, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, podiatry and urology.

The new surgery center will help meet the needs of the growing community southeast of Kansas City with the opportunity for increased access and convenience for patients to receive care in an outpatient setting.

This was the second surgery center Hammes completed in 2024 in the Kansas City metro in partnership with Surgery Ventures, powered by HCA Healthcare. Earlier in the year, Hammes completed Blue River Surgery Center located at 1318 East 104th Street.
