The Executive Advisory Board brings together a team of highly experienced healthcare leaders whose insights will directly shape how Hallmark serves its clients. Their guidance is expected to help the company scale innovative solutions while remaining closely connected to the practical realities confronting health systems today.

Cathy Jacobson, former President and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health, has been appointed Chair of the Advisory Board. Other members include Gay Landstrom, former Chief Nursing Officer at Trinity Health; Tom Priselac, former President and CEO of Cedars-Sinai Health System; Terry Shaw, former President and CEO of AdventHealth; and Kate Walsh, former Secretary of Health and Human Services for Massachusetts and former President and CEO of Boston Medical Center.

Bharat Sundaram, CEO of Hallmark, emphasized that the board’s expertise will directly inform the company’s approach to serving clients. He said that the advice and leadership of Cathy, Gay, Tom, Terry, and Kate will help Hallmark continue to innovate while staying attuned to the challenges health systems face on the ground.

Cathy Jacobson began her career at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where she held finance and operational leadership roles for over two decades. She joined Froedtert ThedaCare Health in 2010 as Executive Vice President of Finance and Strategy and later served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer before becoming President in 2011 and CEO in 2012.

Gay Landstrom, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE, FAONL, previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Trinity Health. She led nursing practice, clinical quality, and workforce innovation initiatives across the system. She has also held leadership positions at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health and Ascension Michigan.

Tom Priselac led Cedars-Sinai Health System as President and CEO for thirty years until his retirement in 2024. During his tenure, Cedars-Sinai expanded its national and international reach, strengthened research and education programs, and implemented community health initiatives.

Kate Walsh served as Secretary of Health and Human Services for Massachusetts and was President and CEO of Boston Medical Center for thirteen years. She also held senior leadership positions at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Terry Shaw spent more than forty years with AdventHealth, serving as President and CEO. He oversaw a national rebranding effort, launched the Vision 2030 strategic plan, and advanced initiatives focused on whole-person care, patient experience, and financial sustainability.

Together, this group of leaders brings extensive experience across healthcare delivery, operations, strategy, and finance. Their collective guidance will support Hallmark’s mission to strengthen alignment with health system clients and drive ongoing innovation in workforce intelligence and enablement.
