Through this collaboration, Catalight will integrate Frontera’s technology to support parent-mediated care, streamline clinical assessments and documentation, and increase access to high-quality autism services through both direct care and training programs.
Amol Deshpande, CEO and co-founder of Frontera Health, stated that the partnership allows Frontera’s technology to be deployed across Catalight’s provider network to enhance parent-mediated care. With healthcare costs rising and practitioner shortages continuing across the industry, Frontera’s solutions offer a scalable approach that alleviates administrative tasks and accelerates access to care for families. Catalight plans to incorporate the technology into its assessments, care services, and expanded Catalight Academy training programs for practitioners.
Tracy Gayeski, Psy.D, MBA, Chief Health Officer at Catalight, noted that the two organizations share a common focus on access and sustainability. She explained that current autism services often prioritize quantity over quality, leaving families with slow, complex, and costly care that may lack evidence-based results. Gayeski added that by combining Frontera’s advanced technology with Catalight’s expertise in clinical research and care delivery, the partnership aims to challenge the status quo and reimagine the industry to better serve patients and families.
Catalight is one of the largest behavioral health nonprofits in the United States, with a network of more than 16,000 practitioners serving approximately 24,000 patients and families each year. Frontera has developed innovative technology solutions designed to help clinicians see more patients, deliver better care, and reduce costs, with pilot programs currently running in their clinics in New Mexico and Colorado.
