“We are proud to welcome The Last Resort, Crestone Wellness, and The Chapter House into the Bradford family,” said Rob Marsh, CEO of Bradford Health Services. “Each of these programs has built a legacy of deep clinical integrity, authentic connection, and strong outcomes. They represent the kind of partners we seek — mission-driven leaders with strong reputations and rooted community impact.”

Located in Smithville, Texas, The Last Resort offers comprehensive care for men, including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), and virtual intensive outpatient programming (IOP). Crestone Wellness, located in Taylor, Texas, provides medical detox and residential treatment for both men and women. The Chapter House, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, delivers an extended care and sober living program designed specifically for men transitioning from primary treatment.

“This partnership allows us to expand the reach of our mission and do more for the men and women we serve,” said Becky Babb, CEO of The Last Resort. “We’re proud of the work we’ve done in Texas and excited to grow alongside Bradford — a partner who shares our belief in high-integrity, patient-first care.”

“When The Last Resort was started, our vision was to provide authentic, deeply connected care,” added Corbin Bigheart, President of The Last Resort. “This acquisition honors that vision and creates opportunities to expand our services in new, meaningful ways.”

The acquisition expands Bradford’s footprint across Central and North Texas, enhancing the organization’s reach from Richardson to Austin. These three programs now join a growing portfolio of trusted regional providers supported by Bradford’s clinical leadership, operational infrastructure, and long-term recovery platform.

“Bradford’s growth strategy is grounded in supporting best-in-class operators with the scale, resources, and systems needed to thrive in a changing landscape,” said Christian Chauvet, Partner at Lee Equity Partners. “The Last Resort, Crestone, and Chapter House are aligned with that strategy — they’re respected, proven, and rooted in the communities they serve. We are proud to support this next chapter of growth and quality care delivery.”

Legal counsel for the transaction was led by Burr Forman LLP, who provided critical support throughout the diligence and closing process.

This acquisition follows Bradford’s October 2024 integration of Lakeview Health, Stepping Stones for Recovery, and Koru Spring, and its 2023 acquisition of Vertava Health of Mississippi, furthering the company’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality addiction treatment across the Southeast and beyond.
