Transition reflects a thoughtful, values-driven succession strategy designed to accelerate urgent care’s next chapter of success

Experity, a leading on-demand healthcare technology platform serving nearly half of all urgent care clinics in the United States, announced that Bobby Ghoshal has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. David Stern, Experity’s founder and former CEO, will continue with the company as Executive Chairperson of the Board. This leadership transition follows a year-long succession plan designed to ensure continuity for Experity’s customers, preserve its mission-driven culture, and position the company for accelerated growth.

Ghoshal joined Experity in August 2025 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He brings more than three decades of experience in healthcare and technology with a strong focus on operational execution, growth, and improving customer outcomes. Previously, he served as President and Chief Commercial Officer of ResMed’s Residential Care Software division, a business generating over $600 million in revenue. His earlier roles included Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Brightree, a SaaS software company serving out-of-hospital care providers. Over the course of his career, Ghoshal has led more than $2.5 billion in acquisitions, demonstrating extensive expertise in scaling businesses and driving innovation.

David Stern emphasized that the CEO role at Experity is critical to shaping the company’s direction and impact across the urgent care industry. He noted that since Ghoshal became President and COO, he has demonstrated strong leadership, earned the trust of customers, and delivered measurable results, setting the stage for the next phase of growth.

Experity has continued to enhance its platform to improve both clinical care and operational efficiency for urgent care providers. In 2025, the company introduced several AI-driven solutions, including AI Scribe, which enhances the EMR-enabled care experience for patients and providers; Care Agent, a patient engagement platform designed to streamline the patient journey; and a Partner Ecosystem specifically tailored for urgent care operators. The company has also strengthened its leadership team with executives from top global technology companies, including Amazon, Apple, Uber, and Tesla.

Ghoshal commented on his appointment, highlighting the legacy David Stern built in the urgent care space. He said it is a privilege to build upon this strong foundation and lead Experity through its next chapter of transformation. He plans to focus on advancing AI-driven innovations, strengthening partnerships, and supporting providers in delivering high-quality patient care and an enhanced care experience.
