McBride brings more than 18 years of experience in value-based healthcare operations. She most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Providence Health Network, where she led the growth of its Medicare Advantage global risk business. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade as Chief Operating Officer of Prospect Medical Systems, building a profitable, payer-agnostic, delegated provider group business serving members across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial products in multiple states. She also held leadership roles managing global risk Medicare Advantage businesses at CareMore Health. Her appointment will be critical to advancing operational scale and care model integration as Astrana continues to expand.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sherry, along with other recent executive hires and promotions, to the leadership team at a time of immense growth and opportunity for Astrana. Her deep experience in delegated value-based care will further strengthen our ability to drive consistent, coordinated, high-quality patient outcomes at scale,” said Brandon Sim, President and CEO of Astrana Health.
