Dr. Kumar is a distinguished ophthalmologist who recently completed her fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Jacksoneye in Lake Villa, IL. She is well-versed in a variety of treatments, including cataracts, diabetic eye exams, general eye care, and LASIK, ensuring comprehensive care for her patients.

A graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Kumar also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, where she minored in English and Chemistry. Her academic excellence is evident in her impressive scores on licensing examinations, including 247 on USMLE Step 1 and 251 on USMLE Step 2 Clinical Knowledge.
